JaxMore Food and Drink Photography is led by Julia Dallimore and Adam Jackson.
We work with restaurants, cafés, pubs and artisan food and drink brands across the UK, creating imagery for websites, listings, social media and marketing campaigns.
Our focus is simple - images that attract attention, support confident pricing and drive demand.
Why Working With Two Specialists Matters
Many food shoots rely on one person handling lighting, styling, camera and props at the same time. We work differently.
We work as a two-person team on every shoot. While one focuses on lighting and capture, the other focuses on styling, composition and detail.
That split keeps the shoot moving, maintains consistency, and gives every frame the attention it deserves. It also means less disruption in working kitchens. We understand the pace of service and stay organised so chefs can focus on the food while we capture it at its best.
Experience That Supports Your Brand
Julia spent more than 30 years in senior marketing roles, both agency-side and client-side. She understands how businesses compete for attention and how visuals need to perform across websites, listings, packaging and social media.
Adam brings over three decades of technical and project experience from the IT world. That discipline carries through into our shoots, from lighting and workflow to delivery. He also trained at Westminster Catering College and worked in high-end hospitality. When we step into a working kitchen, we understand the pressures of service and how to work around it without getting in the way.
Our work has been recognised by the British Photography Awards and the European Photography Awards, reflecting the same standards we bring to every shoot.
We photograph in our Derby studio and on location across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire and the wider Midlands, with projects regularly taking us across the UK.
With Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene for Catering certification, we work safely and respectfully in professional kitchens without disrupting service.
That combination of commercial understanding, technical control and real kitchen experience is why hospitality businesses trust us to represent their food properly. Our Roles
Julia Dallimore - Creative direction and business lead
Julia brings over 30 years’ experience in marketing and creative direction. As director of KTBB Limited, she leads the business and oversees styling, composition and client alignment to ensure every image reflects the brand and the intended customer experience.
Adam Jackson - Lighting and technical execution
Adam leads lighting, capture and post-production. With a background in IT and systems, he ensures consistency, efficiency and high-quality delivery across every shoot.
